Following discussion amongst your executive committee, it has been decided that all Monarchs club activities that require personal contact are now cancelled or postponed until further notice.
The Outfit Rally is cancelled. Members meetings are cancelled. The monthly Sunday rides are cancelled.
The Newsletter will be published......π all being well with our editor. Please send articles, jokes, photos and anything that might lighten up the current bleak outlook to Maz at doonynmaz@bigpond.com
Committee will continue to communicate via phone and Email and you will be informed of any changes.
CPS members that require permit renewals to be signed MUST post them. Please post and include a stamped, self addressed envelope as soon as you receive your renewal from VicRoads to allow time for us to process and return to you. The participation / points requirements are suspended until further notice.
None of these decisions have been taken lightly but the safety and wellbeing of everyone is paramount. Please adhere to ALL the Government/medical recommendations and please look after yourselves, family and friends.

We all need to realise that this virus is HIGHLY contagious and not might, but will kill people. It will depend on how many in relation to how we all behave to try to control it. It makes me sad to see the people still ignoring the social distancing rule putting not only themselves, but their friends and family at risk. We all need to be vigilant with hand hygiene and wash our hands regularly with soap and water after touching surfaces in public before putting our hands near our face.
Please remember to look out for each other and stay in contact via the phone, Facebook, Skype however, just preferably not physically face to face closer than 1.5 metres.
If you are feeling overwhelmed and anxious please talk to somebody or call Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if you need.

Boy am I getting bored with staying at home and not being able to get out and about. Looking forward to catching up with everyone and being able to ride my bikes again. Hopefully it won't be that much longer as I miss my family and friends, and seeing my paca's that Wayne is kindly looking after and giving them a squeeze for me.

Hope everybody is doing okay as we slowly emerge from this hibernation. Looking forward to catching up for a ride and getting out and about again, if I can remember how to ride, or fit into my riding gear.

Had a great day out with members of the club with the BBQ after our club ride in June and was looking forward to another ride in July, but now Victoria is locked down again to 10 attendees at an outdoor activity.

All going well and fingers crossed, we may be able to hold a members meeting on the usual second Tuesday of the month. This meeting will need to be held outside to comply with the social distancing requirements for inside gatherings which would not be possible at the Wishing Well tavern. Stay tuned

Currently we are trialing the Longbeach hotel at 380 Nepean Hwy Chelsea for our monthly meetings.
This was due to the lack of space required for social distancing at the Wishing Well Tavern. It is also more comfortable for the number of people who attend our meetings having somewhere to sit in comfort.
Some people attend the hotel prior to the meeting for a meal from 6:15pm
Potential new members welcome
