The Monarchs Motorcycle Club was started around April 1965 and introduced the Club Permit Scheme when it was commenced in the 1990’s. We are a registered and Incorporated Club.
Our Club agenda is as follows:
· To offer encouragement and support to club members who are owners or riders of road going motorcycles or sidecar outfits of all makes, model and age.
· To offer and encourage safe social activities to members on a non-discriminatory basis through a program of rallies, meetings and other events.
· To support and affiliate with other clubs and organisations which share similar purposes.
We have five life members in Moggy, Keith, John, Stewart and Buque who have all made outstanding contributions to the club over the years. Sadly, Grumpy and Frame who were also life members, have passed away leaving us with our five active life members.
We are a non-discriminatory motorcycle social club. Our current members are riding a vast variety of motorcycles ranging from historic, outfits, adventure bikes and posties. We try to cater for our members with a variety of different types of rides or activities. We also regularly support other clubs by attending their rallies.
New members are welcome if they have an interest in motorcycles and chatting and socialising with others with the same interest. They also must be interested in participating in club activities including monthly meetings, monthly rides and attending club rallies when possible. We currently run 3 yearly rallies: the Cold Flame, Outfit and Dargo High Plains Rally.
All profits from the Cold Flame Rally are donated to a local Community/Mental Health support service to give something back to our community. We have donated backpack beds for the homeless, sleeping bags, beanies, socks and gloves to Community Support Frankston for distribution to those that need them.
Potential new members need to attend three club activities before they are able to apply for membership, this is to ensure that we are the right club for them. After they have attended the three required activities their application will be submitted to the Committee for consideration for membership.
When renewing your membership and making payment, you are agreeing to abide by the club rules and bylaws. Copies are available via the Monarchs Motorcycle Club forum.

The Monarchs also participate in the Club Permit Scheme for motorcycles that are over 25 years of age. Members that wish to participate in this scheme need to attend yearly activities to maintain their eligibility to participate in the scheme.
Members meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at Castellos Longbeach Hotel, Nepean Hwy Chelsea.
