The 37th Cold Flame Rally 2022 will be held on the March long weekend 12-13-14.
It is unfortunate given the history but we are forced to relocate from Pinch River NSW to.....
Native Dog Flat Campsite.
Limestone road Cobberas Victoria…
$20.00 registration fee for the first 100 registrations including a badge.
With regret, the Monarchs Motorcycle Club Inc. is unable to meet the Event Application requirements of Parks NSW.
Parks NSW has introduced a number of new requirements and determined that we are holding a Small Scale Event.
A booking fee of $375.00 is required and we are prohibited from charging for registration, attendance or accepting donations…….even though the event proceeds are donated to charity.
It has also been noted that The Monarchs would be in breach of the Incorporated Association rules of Consumer Affairs Victoria by conducting club business outside Victoria. This would most likely impact our Public Liability insurance
A brief history on the Cold Flame Rally which helps supports the relocation to Victoria.
The Cold Flame Rally was originally ran by a group of individuals who lived in Canberra at the time 37 years ago.
One of the originals organisers (Bob) relocated to Victoria and joined the Monarchs Motorcycle Club, and is still an active member of our club. Bob asked our committee if the Monarchs would be interested in taking over the organisation of this rally in 2015. The Monarchs accepted Bob's offer and took over the running of this event from 2016, continuing to donate the profits to charity as was always the case.
In 2019 it was decided to donate these funds to a local charity closest to our Chelsea base. Consequently we have been donating to Community Support Frankston who have been using the funds to buy back pack beds for the homeless, food parcels and sleeping bags for local people in need. They have been extremely grateful for our support as they have limited funding.
Hope to see you at the new site
Cheers
