Ken Robinson one of the Monarchs founding members wrote a poem for the club in approximately 1966 - 1967.
The Monarchs are on their way, The Monarchs will ride all to-day, Got to keep these wheels a whirring, The Monarchs are on their way.
The Monarchs will ride all day, The Monarchs are here to stay, We'll ride along the highways twisting, We'll have the whole world wishing, They could travel this way---ay, They could travel this way.
We come from far and wide, One thing is on our mind, We like the free and easy living, Cycles are the only living, The Monarchs are on their way---ay, The Monarchs are here to stay.
If you come from Seaford, Carrum too, The Monarchs is the club for you, We take our members from far and wide, And ride every Sunday from 8:45.
Well let's ride, ride, ride, We can have some fun, If your cycle is fast you can join in the run, We get around the scene here and everywhere, The Monarchs are the greatest no troubles there, The Monarchs are everywhere---ere, The Monarchs are everywhere
