14th - 15th September 2019
It's on again and hope to see as many of you there that can make it. We will be there on the Friday.....even though it is the 13th.
Great weekend with heaps of awesome people.
Back to basics rally with a long drop toilet available and water available from the river. Registration on site.....$20
Track in can be tricky, but road bikes regularly attend.
EDIT by elder..... 30 years ago it was ‘tricky’ and we all had road bikes...... Today it is a Highway. 😝🏍
Dim Sims will be available as usual.
Directions: Take High Plains Road from Dargo Proceed 17kms and turn left onto Grant Road Proceed 7kms and turn left onto Macmillan Track Approx 8kms to Talbotville Do not go down the Bulltown Spur track

Yeah, well maybe not all of us have the riding skills of you legends. Sticking with original statement that "track in CAN be tricky", but I got in riding a Postie, albeit slipping around more than I liked.
Riding out was great fun as the track had dried up.

Yes, the track can be a bit tricky. These are from 2011, even sidecars have some fun! Thanks to the group of young four wheel drivers Keith's bike was towed off the hump and my bike was picked up from it's sleep. Cheers Glenn

How time flies the older we get.
Anyhow the famous Dargo High Plains Rally is again creeping up on us.
Hope to see you there.

I have been doing some research trying to find out how long this rally has been running. It seems that this year may be the 39th Dargo High Plains Rally.
Can anyone confirm this?

6:00 pm Monday 9th....news from Dargo store.
Dargo road is OPEN to Talbottville. Conditions are DRY.
Ignore VicRoads listing of “High Plains road closed from Dargo”. Closure is well North of Macmillan Track.

Thanks heaps to all that supported our club this weekend by attending our rally. I must say that the road was in the best condition that I have ever seen it. Xada the dog ate the test dimsim and she didn't seem to care about all the previous poking and prodding. Hope to see you at our future rallies
